These administrative records document the operation, management, and fundraising efforts of the Carolina Justice Policy Center (CJPC) from its founding in 1975 to 2015. The largest series documents CJPC's efforts to secure grant funding. In addition to routine office files, the series also includes a large group of conference materials, and many files of meeting minutes taken at CJPC meetings and other events attended by CJPC staff. Oversize materials include charts and tearsheets of notes.

Contains general memoranda, correspondence, policy information, and other files related to the organization and administration of JWT domestic and international offices, as well as files related to company policy on television and print media. Also includes files related to special events, gifts and JWT contributions to various charities. Items are arranged alphabetically, with original folder titles maintained.

This series primarily consists of materials from Donna Lisker's time as Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education. Included are materials related to retreats, workshops, and outreach efforts for women alumni coordinated with Alumni Affairs; planning for renovations and housing changes to Central Campus, also referred to as New Campus; strategic planning; student housing; the Winter Forum speaker program; and other topics. Files include correspondence, brochures, flyers, reports, and other materials.

Documents a variety of administrative-level activities of the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA) staff for almost the entirety of the organization's history up to 2007, with the majority of files representing the 1980s and 1990s and some later additions of online materials such as blogs, social media, and websites. The Administrative Files most clearly document the day-to-day operations of the Feminist Women's Health Center (FWHC). Materials in this series include policies, procedures, and guidelines for operation of the center; minutes and notes from a range of meetings held by the center; personnel files, including training manuals and job descriptions; and schedules.

Consists of materials that document the founding of Charis Books and More, Charis Circle, and the management of both organizations.

Divided into subseries for Board Records, Correspondence, and Personnel Training. The Board Records Subseries consists primarily of minutes and materials from Executive Board meetings of the International Human Rights Law Group (IHRLG) and Global Rights, with the bulk of these dated between 1995 and 1998. Also included in this subseries are documents from strategic planning meetings, a file of financial audit information and minutes from general staff meetings dated 1996 and from 2000-2001. One newspaper clipping has been removed from this subseries to Oversize Material. The Correspondence Subseries houses internal board communications dated between 1995 and 1998, chronological files of correspondence for Executive Director Gay McDougall and her assistant from 1996-1997, and internal staff memos from 1996. An additional folder of correspondence related to international human rights law is also included. Finally, a subseries of files on Personnel Training consists of staff orientiation and training manuals meant for new IHRLG/Global Rights staff, particularly those in Cambodia, as well as manuals written by IHRLG-affiliated lawyers for the larger human rights community. In addition, this subseries includes reports and materials from staff retreats. While the material in the Administrative Files Series generally chronicles the coordination of the IHRLG/Global Rights' activities around the world, files also document the internal dynamics of the organization. In particular, responses to a sense among some within the organization that the IHRLG had lost sight of its founding purpose, and the subsequent reevaluation of the group's mission are included. Subseries are organized alphabetically then chronologically.

Contains information regarding the conception and incorporation of the Foundation in 1985, as well as the running of the Foundation from its early years through the 1990s. The major administrative figures represented in this series are Sallie Bingham, Maxine Brown, Pat Buster, Ann Stewart Anderson, Tim Peters, Mona Murphy, and Frederick Smock. The General Information and Correspondence folders document the range of ideas and goals for the Foundation originally proposed by its founder, Sallie Bingham, and detail the decisions made about which ideas to pursue and which to abandon. Information on the evolving role of the grant process illuminates the Foundation's increasing focus on women in the arts in Kentucky over the years. The Sallie Bingham correspondence also contains letters she wrote to family members, as well as responses to numerous personal requests for financial support or donations, the majority of which she turned down. The set of newsletters (1985-1999) and Board meeting minutes provide a concise summary of the decisions made and the course of activity followed by the Foundation. The financial, legal and tax papers document the process by which the Foundation acquired and dispensed funds, as well as the overall growth of the Foundation. Original arrangement retained.

These files contain materials related to the daily core operations of NCARRV, including office files, meeting files, event photographs, and project files.

Series consists of chronological files, correspondence, meeting minutes, newsletters, and program-specific files that detail Triangle WILPF's history and operation. The chronological files are composed largely of monthly newsletters and meeting minutes; a small amount of minutes and newsletters exist outside of the chronological files. Chapter correspondence is not extensive and includes some correspondence with elected officials, primarily Congressman David Price, Senator John Edwards, and Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton; additional correspondence with elected officials can be found throughout the Subject Files series. Series also contains informational literature, correspondence, and event materials from other chapters of WILPF, including the U.S. Section and the international body of WILPF. The activities of Charlotte Adams, Vivian Plonsey, and other WILPF chairs are represented throughout the administrative materials. Triangle WILPF's regular activities such as peace vigils, participation in protests, and legislative advocacy are documented throughout this series, as well as in the Subject Files. The Administrative Materials series of the Women's Studies Program records contains materials related to the formation, operation, activities, students, staff, finances, and projects of the Women's Studies Program. Included are correspondence, minutes, reports, newsletters, flyers, budgets, programs, and many other materials.

Administrative Materials relate mostly to office files, such as by-laws and policies for the organization, fundraising, events, grant opportunities and applications, and general donation information. Materials are arranged chronologically by year and alphabetically within each year.

Accession (2007-0183) contains three binders that detail activities in 2006-2007 including the 2007 report and their public service campaign for the Inter-faith Food Shuttle.

Topics in this series are widely varied, however they are all related to the daily operations of the Duke Farms estate. The materials begin with J.B. Duke, primarily documenting the early evolution of the estate from a "gentleman's" farm (raising and breeding cattle and horse) to a public park, and finally to a large-scale agricultural production farm to support the war effort. Materials include the original deeds, mortgages, and agreements relating to the formation of J.B. Duke's Hillsborough property, the certificate of incorporation of the Duke's Farm Company in 1917, correspondence and invoices for purchases of equipment and Jersey cows for the farm, lists of plants and flowers sold, analysis of profit and loss accounts, daily activity reports, and correspondence, notes, and specifications for various architectural projects at Duke Farms, including the construction of a "country house" and the greenhouses. Of particular interest are the letterbooks, which range from 1916 to 1927. The letters detail the daily operations of Duke's Farms, including the purchases of plants, trees, and flowers for the estate, rent paid, farm equipment requests, and letters to Horace Trumbauer regarding the construction of two cottages on the estate.

This series contains an assortment of materials related to the broad and varied business and personal activities of Doris Duke. Materials related to business activities include correspondence, agendas, reports, and minutes from Doris Duke's business team. Topics range from investments, new ventures (including the chartering of the Newport Restoration Foundation), and loans, to job descriptions, stock donations, approval of gifts (donations), and information on the General Charitable Aid Association. Other business related materials include activity reports, repairs to homes, design proposals, NRF work progress reports, and requests for interviews. While these materials are related to Doris Duke's business pursuits, the personal side of life is also reflected as the authors often comment on current events and other daily activities such as congratulations on her marriage to Porfirio Rubirosa.

Materials in this series include correspondence dating from the 1950s inquiring about Doris Duke's plans for the estate. These letters, addressed to both to Doris Duke and S.L. Hawkins, include suggestions for donating the estate for a Greek orphanage and school, an Episcopalian Girls' School, and a hotel. Also included are documents related to Miss Duke's attempts to lease or rent Rough Point for the long term. The series also consists of appraisals of the estate after Hurricanes Carol and Edna in 1954, invoices for repairs to the interior and exterior of Rough Point, invoices for the purchase and repair of furniture, which includes fabric samples, invoices and vouchers for the purchase and repair of art objects, inventory books documenting the contents of each room of the estate (including color and black and white photographs), and memoranda and newspaper clippings regarding the Cliff Walk at Rough Point.

The materials in this series document the daily operations of the JHFNC and its predecessor organizations, beginning with the Efraim and Marian Rosenzweig Judaica and Hebraica Exhibit at the Judea Reform Congregation. The series also contains materials related to the building of the foundation's archival collections and documents the ultimate destination of archival materials and museum artifacts after the 2003 separation of the JHFNC and Rosenzweig Museum.

Topics in this series are widely varied; however they are all related to the daily operations of the Duke Gardens Foundation and the Indoor Display Gardens, including the original agreement between Doris Duke and the Duke Gardens Foundation outlining the purpose of the Foundation. Also included are board meetings and minutes, progress reports, correspondence, notes, and invoices regarding design, set up, and materials for the different display gardens, correspondence and memoranda regarding purchases and donations of plant materials, clippings and brochures related to the opening and success of the gardens, property appraisals, inventories, and other general administrative materials. Boxes 34-54 contain logs of different activities such as registries for garden tours, in and out logs, and schedules for evening tours. Of particular interest are the thank you letters, many addressed to either Doris Duke or to the Tour Guides who gave the garden tours.

Topics in this series are widely varied; however they are all related to the Falcon Lair residence. Materials include correspondence and memoranda, estimates and invoices for interior decorating services, renovations and repairs to the home, and inventories of household items (many with color and B&W photographs). A majority of the correspondence is from employees regarding the daily activities of Falcon Lair, including the hiring of temporary help, payment of invoices/bills, wages, repairs and services to house, and other transactions. While much of the correspondence is related to the business side of Falcon Lair, the personal side of life is also reflected as the authors often comment on current events and other activities.

These files consist of a variety of administrative materials, including reports, financial statements, correspondence, meeting minutes, grant proposals, and news articles documenting the history of TUCC. These materials detail the creation and initial funding of TUCC, its activities over the course of its operations, and its eventual dissolution in September, 1990.

Materials include correspondence and memoranda related to the creation and general administrative matters of the Foundation for Southeast Asian Art and Culture (SEAAC), inventories, packing lists, customs entries and exhibition bonds of purchased art objects from Southeast Asia, estimates and bills related to construction of various buildings, and the Certificate of Incorporation, Amendments, and By-Laws of the Thai House Foundation (renamed SEAAC). Also included are tax returns, financial summaries, ledgers, and other financial records. Topics include land discussions and possible sites in Hawaii for the Thai Village, admission procedures and ticket sales, administrative expenses, the purchase and shipment of art objects, the construction of several buildings, and the daily operations of the Foundation.

This series contains a variety of materials related to the business activities of the Newport Restoration Foundation. Materials included are correspondence and memoranda regarding the purchase, renovation, and renting of NRF homes in Newport, R.I., statements of receipts and disbursements for NRF, newspaper clippings regarding the activities of and awards to the NRF, reports and summaries, weekly progress reports for work performed at various NRF homes, photo inventories (including color photographs) of furniture and other household items at each restored NRF home, NRF business plans and other various NRF business activities. Also includes correspondence regarding the writing of an article about the NRF with hand written responses from Doris Duke.

These files consist of a variety of administrative materials, including reports, correspondence, minutes and programs, documenting the directives and activities of the Office of Minority Affairs. These activities, which include recruitment of minority students, financial and community relations, campus life (cultural/social activities), academic counseling and tutoring, and the development of Black Studies courses, were meant to address the individual and collective concerns within the minority student population at Duke University.

Thirty black-and-white prints ranging in size from 8.5x13.5 to 10.25x13.25 inches in 16x20 inch mats. The subjects are writers of personal ads, who Camhi contacted after seeing the ads in the paper. Camhi wrote that he saw the personal ads as distilled self-portraits and created his own photographic portraits of the authors of the ads in their homes. The text of the personal ads appears with most images.

Camhi directed this two-year visual exploration of Mexican American life and culture called "Espejo," and invited five other documentary photographers to join him. The resulting body of work was exhibited in Chicago and Oakland and published in book form in 1978. Primarily working in New Mexico and California, Camhi shot Mexican-American artists, sculptors, craftsmen and undocumented families at work and in their homes. The prints measure from 7.75x12.25 to 11x14 inches, with most of them in 16x20 inch mats. Images taken by other project photographers are not included in this collection.
