This is a collection of zines made by the Duke University undergraduate students in the semester course of Comics and Zines: History, Theory, and Practice taught by Professor Bill Fick. It includes zines from the spring 2021-2024 semester courses.

Martin Shubik (1926-2018) was the Seymour H. Knox Professor Emeritus of Mathematical Institutional Economics at Yale University. This collection primarily documents his professional life through his correspondence, writings, research, and professional and faculty activities. It forms part of the Economists' Papers Archive.

The Dean of Trinity College of Arts and Sciences is the University's principal spokesperson for the needs of undergraduate education. The Dean is involved in the processes of academic budgeting and in the appointment, promotion and retention of faculty. The collection contains correspondence, reports, brochures, pamphlets, booklets, meeting minutes and meeting agendas, in addition to Course Synopsis Handbooks. There are also clippings and articles that relate to broad topics such as trends in faculty salaries and student populations. Dates range from 1911-2022.

Author and scholar of religion and African American studies. Collection includes Boykin's drafts and published writings on religion, African American history, imperialism, and AIDS. Also contains a small amount of books from his personal library, diplomas and other personal papers, and unidentified microfilm reels.

Leslie Brown was a Professor of History at Williams College, Williamstown, MA. She was born in 1954 and died in 2016. The Leslie Brown papers span the years 1936-2016 and undated and cover her entire career as a historian, from her doctoral training to her final position at Williams College. There is also extensive information regarding her professional interest in African-American history and the preparation of oral histories. Acquired as part of the John Hope Franklin Research Center for African and African American History and Culture.

As of 2005, the Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences at Duke University offers two master's degree programs: Master of Environmental Management (MEM) and Master of Forestry (MF). Both degree programs require students complete a master's project that presents an in-depth or quantitative analysis of a problem related to the students' particular focus area. Collection contains printed, bound master's projects. Materials range in date 1933-2005. Master's Projects for 2005 are held in the Nicholas School office. English.

Kristine Stiles is the France Family Professor of Art, Art History & Visual Studies. Her main field of research is contemporary art with a focus on experimental practices, as well as representations of destruction, violence and trauma in art. The collection includes several different series, including Stiles' personal and family papers, projects and writings, correspondence, photographs, and an artist archive documenting her correspondence and relationships with hundreds of contemporary modern artists from around the world. This archive has been sorted by each artist's last name and includes such artists as Chris Burden, Lynn Hershman, Allan Kaprow, Gustav Metzger, John Latham, Jean-Jacques Lebel, Yoko Ono, Raphael Montañez Ortiz, Dan and Lia Perjovschi, Carolee Schneemann, Wolf Vostell and many more.

Franco Modigliani (1918-2003) was a Nobel Prize winner and Institute Professor Emeritus (of economics) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This collection primarily documents his professional life through his correspondence, writings and speeches, professional activities, and teaching. It forms part of the Economists' Papers Archive.

Robert Stanley Rankin (1899-1976) taught political science at Duke beginning in 1927 and was chairman of the political science department from 1949 to 1964. He retired from teaching in 1969. The collection includes departmental records, correspondence, reports, notes, student papers, questionnaires, publications, and other materials of Robert S. Rankin and the Duke University Department of Political Science. English.
