The TCAS Academic Advising Center, formerly the TCAS Pre-Major Advising Center, located on East Campus provides academic advising resources to students before they declare a major. This collection contains memoranda, monthly newsletters, committee papers ranging in date from 1981-1994; freshman guidebooks ranging in date from 1985-1996; and basic documents regarding in-school scholarships.

Brown's Schoolhouse was established in 1838 in Randolph County, North Carolina. The school would go through iterations as Union Institute Academy, Normal College, and eventually Trinity College. The college relocated to Durham, North Carolina in 1892 and was renamed Duke University in 1924. This collection consists of administrative, academic, and financial records. Materials include accounting ledgers, roll books, student lists and rosters including lists containing the names of students from the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, minutes and resolutions, financial and annual reports, account statements, addresses, sermons, correspondence, writings of Braxton Craven, and Trinity College publications.

Trinity Park School was established in 1898, under headmaster J.F. Bivins, to better prepare students for admission at Trinity College and other institutions. The school operated on the campus of Trinity College until 1922, when it was permanently closed. The Trinity Park School Collection includes bound volumes, print materials, the papers of headmaster F.S. Aldridge, photographs, and financial information. Annual Trinity Park School catalogs have been removed and cataloged separately.

Collection comprises a copy of the "Triumphant Whig Song," featuring verses about 8 states and their unwavering support for "Tyler and Tippecanoe." The song is followed by the statement "Samuel Hunt's Ballad," which may denote the tune for the song. The page is also signed by Samuel L. Hay.

T. S. Ferree Jr. was a commercial artist, graphic designer and advertising executive based in Raleigh, N.C. The T. S. Ferree, Jr. Papers span the years 1940-1989 and include drawings and sketches, proofs and tear sheets of printed advertisements, clippings, photographs, slides, speeches, brochures and pamphlets, direct marketing mailers and collateral literature that document Ferree's and the Ferree Studios' advertising and commercial design work. Clients consist mainly of businesses located in the Virginia-North Carolina-South Carolina tri-state region, including Branch Banking and Trust (BB&T), BTR Management, Ciba-Geigy, General Electric, McLean Trucking, Newport News Shipbuilding, Reckitt Benckiser (Glass Plus, Spray 'n Wash), Smith Transfer Company, Sweetheart Cups (Maryland Cup Corporation), Tobacco Associates and The Washington Group. The collection also includes materials relating to the Ferree School of Art, the Raleigh Ad Club, and the Advertising Federation of America. Acquired as part of the John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising & Marketing History.

The collection consists of printed materials and ephemera documenting the 2018 presidential election and 2019 municipality elections in Turkey. Represented in the collection are the major parties, including the Justice and Development Party (AKP), Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), Republican People's Party (CHP), Nationalist Movement Party (MDP), Felicity Party (Saadet), Patriotic Party (Vatan), and Iyi Party (Iyi). Materials are in Turkish.

Collection contains original caricatures, original and drafts drawings, and select magazine issues that critique political decisions, parties, cultural and social issues, world affairs, economics, womens' rights, equality, foreign policies, World War II, and more in 20th century Turkey. Artists such as Ramiz Gökçe, Memduh, Olgaç, and many more are represented in this collection. There are also representative caricature journals, e.g., Mizah, Akbaba, Karikatür, and Amcabey.

Collection comprises 176 Turkish political posters, including three duplicates. There are seven series of posters: Korean War, NATO, Historical significance, Commemoration of Ottoman historical figures, Republican-era historical figures, Leftist, and Presidency of the Turkish Republic. In the first, sixteen posters extoll the achievements of the Turkish Armed Forces command or Turkish Brigade in the Korean War between November 1950 and July 1953. In the second series, one poster represents Turkey's relationship to North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and another reflects the naval and air force maneuvers of NATO's Southern Command, Greece, and Turkey at Weld Fast in 1953. The third series includes 27 posters that celebrate events of historic national significance and depict international political figures together with Turkish leaders. The fourth series includes four posters that commemorate Ottoman historical figures, including admiral Barbaros Hayrettin, and sultans Mehmet V, Mehmed II, and Selim I. The fifth series includes 14 posters of Repulican-era historical figures, including portraits of World War II generals and political figures. The sixth series contains 63 leftist political posters with political slogans, as well as calls for meetings and demonstrations; most of them date from the second half of the 1970's. The seventh series contains 50 posters issued by the Presidency of the Turkish Republic regarding the failed coup attempt of 15 July 2016.

The Turner family was based in Van Buren, Crawford County, Arkansas. Correspondence, papers, diaries, and scrapbooks of Jesse Turner, Sr. (1805-1894), lawyer, jurist, and Whig politician of Van Buren, Ark.; his wife, Rebecca (Allen) Turner (1823-1917); their son, Jesse Turner, Jr. (1856-1919); and other members of the Turner and Allen families, relating to law practice, family history and personal matters, political activities in Arkansas and the U.S. (1840-1900), secession in Arkansas, the Arkansas Constitution of 1836, social life and customs in Arkansas, life during Reconstruction, and U.S. presidential elections of 1848 and 1860. Correspondents include prominent Arkansas attorneys Albert Pike and Absalom Fowler. There are also a number of letters between Rebecca Allen and Jesse Turner before their marriage, and letters from Rebecca to her son Jesse Jr., as well as diaries written by his mother (1857-1859) chronicling his early childhood.
