Correspondence from 1950s often concerns efforts by FB and others to track down original Asbury letters and their location. Unpublished FB addresses and articles here include "Francis Asbury--Father in God of American Methodism" and "Francis Asbury--John Wesley's Episcopal Apprentice."

Typewritten transcription of letter to his mother from William Ault (1786-1815), a missionary who accompanied Thomas Coke to establish Methodist missions in Ceylon. Writing from Bombay before going on to Ceylon, Ault speaks of the death of his wife and of Coke en route from England.
