Folders 1-2 contain general research materials on Methodism in Germany. Folders 3-7 contain correspondence, photographs, and writings regarding the Baker family's acquaintance and ongoing relationship with a group of German prisoners-of-war, who were held at Camp Norton when the Bakers lived in Warsop, England, circa 1947. Additional background information about these events can be found in a 2002 letter from the Bakers' daughter Enid Hickingbotham, filed in the correspondence folder here, and in the undated address by Nellie Baker, "Make Us Builders of Peace." The folders also include two music manuscripts by Heinrich Heun from 1947 and 1948, and an article by Ilsabe Halves, Wir Beide Hand in Hand, 1995
