Watson's written thesis (33 pp.), "Light & Shadow: Corning, General Electric, and the Incandescent Bulb," in which he explores how scientific innovation and discovery are entwined with art, spirituality, and philosophy, forms part of Watson's MFA/EDA thesis project film, The Glass Evangelist. Also includes a digital .pdf of the thesis.

Charles G. (C. G.) Watson's creative thesis project comprises: one digital video of thesis film, The Glass Evangelist (TRT 00:37:01); one 16mm roll of film (footage of glass eyes, West Campus, 200 feet on one reel) and one digital video of the 16mm footage (TRT 00:06:03); two cyanotype fabric prints of magnified cornea (made by Sejiro Littleton and gifted to Charles G. Watson) (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches); and one cyanotype plastic transparency of a magnified cornea (8 1/2 x 7 inches).
