Duke SHAPE, or Duke Sexual Harassment & Assault Prevention & Education, is a student-run advocacy group at Duke University. Formed in 2020, SHAPE's mission is to remove the culture of sexual assault and harassment from the Duke community through education, prevention, and response efforts. The collection contains administrative records, meeting minutes and agendas, project and programming documents, training materials, outreach materials, policy and research materials, and marketing materials.

The Duke Student Association of Wetland Scientists (SAWS) is an organization of undergraduate and graduate students. Duke SAWS advocates for the conservation and study of wetlands, development of wetland science, and the promotion of public education on wetland resources. Collection consists of financial records, publicity materials, photographs, video recordings of events, meeting notes, and materials related to events planning.

The Duke Student Engineers' Wives Club was formed in 1949 for the wives of engineering students as a social organization. The collection includes a scrapbook, photograph album of the children of club members, and a few materials related to the operations of the club in the 1950s.

The Duke Student Government (DSG) replaced the existing student government, Associated Students of Duke University (ASDU), in 1993. DSG is the governing body of Duke undergraduate students and acts as the principal liaison between them and the University administration. It presents students' views on the affairs of the University community, appoints students to University and Board of Trustees committees, and oversees and allocates funds to student clubs and organizations. The Duke Student Government Records contain materials of both the DSG its organizational predecessor, Associated Students of Duke University (ASDU). Records consist of correspondence, legislation, minutes, reports, printed matter, judicial decisions, charters, memoranda, speeches, receipts, vouchers, and other materials, and document student governance and political activity, organizations, events planning, housing, and interaction with Duke University administration and the Board of Trustees.

In March 2001, students formed the group, Duke Student Movement, to protest racism and exclusion on Duke's campus. Student protests were sparked by the publication of a paid advertisement that argued against slavery reparations in the Chronicle. This scrapbook contains clippings, photographs, and Duke Student Movement papers documenting student activism and responses from alumni, faculty, and administration to these events.

Duke Student with Interracial Legacies (SWIRL) is a cultural group that was established in 2016. The group seeks to foster a sense of belonging and community for students with mixed background experiences. This collection consists of meeting notes, events planning materials, photographs of events, and budgeting records. Records span 1993 to 2020.

Duke Taekwondo is a Sport Club training in the World Taekwondo style of Taekwondo. The Duke Taekwondo records cover 2017-2019 and include of background documents and photographs, among other administrative material.

Duke University has celebrated anniversaries of two major founding events: the establishment of continuous education at Brown's Schoolhouse in Randolph County, N.C., in 1838, and the creation of the Duke Endowment, which transformed Trinity College into Duke University in 1924. As a result, the institution commemorated the 100th Anniversary of its beginnings in Randolph County in 1938/1939, the 50th Anniversary of the Duke Endowment and founding of Duke University in 1974/1975, the 150th Anniversary of its beginnings in Randolph County in 1988/1989, and the 75th Anniversary of the Duke Endowment and founding of Duke University in 1999/2000. The Duke University Anniversaries Collection includes correspondence, clippings, photographs, printed matter, programs, speeches, a sound recording, a diary, acknowledgements from other institutions, a time capsule, and other materials relating to events commemorating the beginnings and founding of Duke University. Major subjects include events planning, fund raising, Duke University, Trinity College (Randolph Co., N.C. and Durham, N.C.), Normal College (Randolph Co., N.C.), Union Institute (Randolph Co., N.C.), and Brown's Schoolhouse (Randolph Co., N.C.). English.

This collection consists of original and copy negatives taken by various sources over several decades. Most of the negatives were produced by the Office of News and Communication's News Bureau in the early years of Duke University and later by University Photography (upon its establishment).

The collection contains scrapbooks for which the creator and/or origin is unknown. They contain clippings, photographs, programs, invitations, and ephemera about Trinity College/Duke University people, athletics and speakers.

Collection contains audio of sermons delivered at religious and ceremonial services in the Duke University Chapel by various ministers, professors, and guests of the University. Notable speakers include Howard Wilkinson, James Cleland, Waldo Beach, Thor Hall, Charlene Kammerer, Jon Laidlaw, Will Willimon, Robert Young and others. The collection consists of 7" reel-to-reel audio tapes, audiocassette tapes, VHS tapes, and digital audio tapes of sermons, programs and Lenten meditations delivered in Duke Chapel from 1954 to ongoing.

The Duke University Church (Interdenominational) was formed in response to the desire for a campus church at the University. The Church was founded in 1938 and disbanded in 1985. Types of materials include correspondence, financial material, minutes, and reports. Major subjects include Duke University religious life, students, Christianity, and fellowship. Materials range in date from 1936-1989 (bulk 1950-1979). English.

The Duke University College Republicans, an umbrella organization for all Republicans on campus, was established around 1965. The College Republicans support Republican campaigns at the local, state and national level. Major subjects included are: student activism at Duke University and in North Carolina, the North Carolina Federation of College Republicans, Duke University President Terry Sanford and the International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation controversy, campaign support for Republican candidates, and the general governance of the Duke University College Republicans. Types of materials included are advertisements, clippings, newsletters, meeting minutes and agendas, flyers, correspondence, and miscellaneous writings. The materials in this collection documents the activities of the Duke University College Republicans from about 1965 to 1977. The bulk of the material is from 1973 to 1977. English.

In 2020, the Duke University Archives and Duke University Medical Center Archives requested submissions from members of the Duke community as part of the "Share Your COVID-19 Story" project to document life during the COVID-19 pandemic. The collection contains essays, photographs, and sound recordings submitted by Duke faculty, staff, and students.

Duke University Emergency Medical Services began as Duke University Rescue Squad in 1994 as a student-run medical service provider at events on campus. This collection contains proposals, photographs, newspaper clippings, handwritten notes on the history of DUEMS, and a scrapbook.

The Ephemera Collection includes event tickets, dining hall placemats, football game tickets, receipts, decals, pins, meal books and tickets, programs, photographcs, and other materials related to student life at Duke.

The Duke University Equestrian Team (DUET) was formed in 1976 to provide a means for equestrians to represent Duke University in competitions. Records contain correspondence, programs, reports, financial materials, agendas, membership lists, minutes, a charter application, a constitution, and notebooks. Major subjects include Duke University, sports clubs, horse showing in the southeastern United States, intercollegiate sports, and the Duke University Equestrian Team. Materials range in date from 1977 to 1981.

Duke University Improv is an improvisational comedy group composed of Duke students. The group formed in 1997. Records include printed e-mail correspondence, photographs, scripts, clippings, publicity fliers, and rosters. Major subjects include Duke University student activities, entertainment at Duke University, improvisational comedy, and acting. Materials range in date from 1997 to 2001. English.
