The chain was founded in 1946 by Si Bercutt in Van Nuys, Calif., acquired by the Wickes Companies in 1978, and closed in 1993. The album contains color photographs of the exterior and interior of the Redwood City, Calif. retail store. Photographs depict store fixtures, merchandise displays, departments, and sales promotion signs. Acquired as part of the John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising & Marketing History.
