Glenn Wellington Dobbs was an executive and sales manager for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, Winston-Salem, N.C.
Glenn Dobbs was born in 1918 in Shenandoah, Va. He joined R.J. Reynolds in 1938 and worked until 1943, when he left for military service during World War II. Dobbs returned to Reynolds in 1947. He served as Division Manager, Richmond (1948-1958); Manager, Birmingham region (1958-1962); Assistant to the Sales Manager (1962-1965); Zone Sales Manager (1965-on). After retiring Dobbs remained in Winston-Salem and died there in 2008.
